Yarn Blend & Recycled Percentage
The choice of fiber combination — such as regenerated cotton, post-consumer recycled polyester, or combed virgin cotton face — directly determines yarn procurement costs and compliance certification levels.
Fleece Construction (2-End vs 3-End)
2-End fleece utilizes a ground and loop yarn for fluid lightweight applications. 3-End fleece introduces a third dedicated tie-yarn system for maximum structure, density, and zero loop pull-through.
Target GSM & Weight Density
Because fabric is produced and purchased by the kilogram or linear yard, heavier weights (380–420+ GSM) consume proportionally more fiber and yarn per square meter than lighter 240–280 GSM knits.
